The Torch Bearers is a cast aluminum sculpture by artist Anna Hyatt Huntington which sits just outside the main entrance of the
Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, Virginia. Huntington was the daughter-in-law of Collis P. Huntington, railroad magnate, founder of the Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company and early benefactor of Hampton Institute featured in yesterday's photo. Huntington's husband Archer established the Mariners' Museum Newport News, Virginia in 1930. Canon G10, f8.0, 1/60s, ISO 200, 149mm equivalent.
