One of the first signs of spring is the gorgeous yellow flowers of the
forsythia. The shrub is often called Golden Bells because of the hanging yellow blossoms. This macro close-up was made with a Canon 40D and 50mm f/2.5 compact macro lens, exposure 1/15s at f/3.5, ISO 100. The subject was lit with a Canon 430EX Speedlite in an Orbis ringflash adapter.
